Update May 25, 2010

Our final day of baking and our winners announced! Our 3 finalists arrived early for our Cookies for the Cure award ceremony. FOX40's Ama Daetz stopped by for a live feed, and was kind enough to help present our winners with custom engraved spatula's and CRESCO Gift Certificates totaling $2000.00. The winner was Janet Floyd, and her cookie the Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Carmellita. Second place was Andrea and Sophia O'neal Roberts with their cookie, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk. Our third place winner was Lori Brown with her Oatmeal chocolate chip cookie.

The CRESCO Crew would like to thank all those that participated. It was a difficult job to judge all the terrific cookies. Thank you all for your time, effort, and most of all your help bringing awareness to this very serious issue. We hope to continue this effort next year!

Update May 23, 2010

This last week was our final baking week, and as with previous weeks it was terrific!

This was also the week that we selected our 3 finalists! One of the 3 will be our Cookies for the Cure Grand Prize Winner. We will send another update after the finalists have been notified.

Before we announce the finalists we would like to thank all those that participated in this Breast Cancer Awareness event. ALL of our bakers did a great job, produced unbelievable cookies, and most importantly promoted Breast Cancer Awareness.

We started the fundraiser with the intent of supporting breast cancer awareness. Little did we know that we would get so much more from this event. We got to meet some really interesting people, that like us, wanted to do something to support the fight against cancer. I wanted to do a cancer awareness fundraiser and ended up making a bunch of new friends. Thanks to all that shared your stories, your time, effort, and your cookies. I hope all that participated will become part of our family of friends.

The CRESCO crew is grateful for your participation and support. Hopefully we will be able to continue this event next year!

Our final bake off is Wednesday!
